ADS SIGNIANT MEDIA SHUTTLE HELP
ADS uses Signiant Media Shuttle to safely host and transfer client materials with transfer speeds limited only by your connection.

THE SIGNIANT APP
The Signiant App is a Windows and macOS application that allows you to accelerate content transfers through Media Shuttle, which is available as an automatic download from any of your Media Shuttle portals, or as a download.

Note: The Signiant App will end support for macOS Catalina 10.15 on December 10, 2023. The Signiant App will continue to be supported on macOS Big Sur 11, Monterey 12, and Ventura 13.

WHITELISTING
While Signiant’s Media Shuttle service is globally accessible via the internet, end users may need to have their IT professionals “whitelist” IP addresses and/or FQDN (Fully Qualified Domain Names) to allow access to the non-standard ports and addresses used by the Signiant transfer protocol. To ensure errorless transfers to and/or from the ADS Signiant Media Shuttle environment, please consult the following settings:

Network Requirements
- Protocol TCP, Port 443, IP Address Range: Amazon CloudFront IP Ranges
- Protocol TCP/UDP, Port 49221, IP Address Range: Media Shuttle Service for AWS S3
External Domains
The Signiant App makes HTTPS connections to the following domains:
- updates.signiant.com
- *.mediashuttle.com
- *.cloud.signiant.com
- *.pndsn.com
- *.pubnub.com
PubNub Messaging Service
Signiant uses PubNub as a messaging service as a fallback for websocket communication for the Signiant App, and to support app-less Media Shuttle transfers.
To ensure maximum connectivity and performance in app-less environments, the following IP ranges must be whitelisted for outbound connections to PubNub:
- 13.232.67.208/29
- 34.223.51.128/29
- 54.93.254.232/29
- 54.236.3.168/29
- 54.241.191.232/29
- 54.250.252.48/29
- 54.249.82.168/31

SIGNIANT APP LOG LOCATION
For in-depth error messages, you may need to consult the local logs that the Signiant App saves on your transfer device.

Assuming that the Signiant App is installed on your computer, follow these steps to retrieve your logs:
The location of the application and transfer logs varies depending on your operating system:
macOS: ~/Library/Logs/Signiant/
Windows: C:\Users\>username<\AppData\Roaming\Signiant\Logs\
Note: AppData is a hidden folder. To access it, enable Show Hidden Items in File Explorer, or enter %appdata% as the file path to access the folder.
