HD Up-Down/Cross Conversion

ADS integrates the latest in HD technology for up-down and cross conversions featuring state-of-the-art equipment such as Snell & Wilcox’s HD Alchemist and Ukon® up-down/cross converter. No job is too small or too large.

Regardless of how demanding your input and output requirements are, we configure HD Alchemist and Ukon to provide up-conversion, down-conversion and cross-conversion, as well as ensuring precise lip-sync and time-code integrity. And, with these devices, we also meet all of your audio requirements, including embedded, AES and compressed audio formats. We also carry out time-code conversion from any SD or HD format to any HD or SD format and give you full assurance of exact frame mapping.

ADS can also assemble raw assets using HD linear and Final Cut Pro HD® non-linear editing.

HD Duplication & Quality Control

ADS supports all compressed and uncompressed HD formats, such as HD Cam SR, HD Cam, D5, HD DVC PRO, XD Cam, SONY HDV, DVHS and HD MPEG, while offering 100% Quality Control (QC) for all HD tape formats. Our QC operators are trained to detect video and audio problems for network broadcast and other delivery formats throughout your project’s workflow.
